Chronicle Quests
Chronicle Quests are single-player quests where you must use characters that match the story to complete the quest. Chronicle Quests can be accessed by tapping the Quests button on the Main screen and then tapping Chronicle Quests.
How To Play Chronicle Quests
1. Create Your Team
Only certain characters can be used for each Chronicle Quest. You must make a team of up to three characters using only the characters available for that quest, other characters cannot be used. You can check the details of the quest and then select the appropriate Accessories and Character Links.
2. Play a Quest
Chronicle Quests require Soul Tickets to play.
3. Trade Fragments
You can acquire Fragments by completing Chronicle Quests. These can then be exchanged for various items in the Chronicle Quest Exchange.

1. Select a Chapter
Each Chapter contains a number of quests. Tap a Chapter to see a list of quests for that Chapter. You can unlock the next chapter by completing certain Missions.
2. Chapter Unlock Missions
You can see which Missions you need to unlock the next Chapter by tapping the Chapter's icon.
3. Part
Here you can select which Part you want to play. Clear all the quests in a Part to unlock the next Part. More story Parts will be added at regular intervals.
4. Missions
Here you can check the available Missions for each Part. You can earn items by completing the conditions for each Mission. There are Free Missions and Missions that must be completed in order to unlock subsequent Chapters.
5. Fragments
Here you can check how many Fragments you can acquire from each Part. Tap the question mark icon to see a list of quests where you can acquire that Fragment.
6. Chronicle Quest Exchange
Here you can trade your Fragments for various items.
Quest List
When you select a Chapter from the Chronicle Quests Top screen, a list of quests for that Chapter appears.
1. Select a Quest
Here you can select the quest you wish to enter.
2. Unlocking Quests
Here you can see what Missions you need to complete to unlock a given quest. If you complete a Mission to unlock a quest, your reward will be awarded after the quest is completed.
3. Quest Information
Here you can see details of the quest you have selected.
4. Difficulty
Tap the button for the difficulty level you wish to try in order to open the Quest Preparation screen. You will not be able to enter the Quest Preparation screen if you do not possess any of the useable characters.
Quest Preparation
Here you can prepare your team for the Chronicle Quest.
1. Character Setup
Here you can create your team for the Chronicle Quest. Tap on a team slot and a sidebar will appear from which you can select your character, Accessories, and Character Links. Tap anywhere on the screen outside the sidebar to close the bar. When the bar is closed, you can change the formation of your characters by dragging and dropping them to different slots.
Some quests have a limit on the number of characters you can use in that quest.
Allies cannot be taken on Chronicle Quests.
2. Team Info
Here you can see various information about the characters in your team, such as their attack type and Killer abilities.
3. Clearance History
You can recall the character, Accessories, and Character Links you used for each slot the last time you cleared the stage. The latest clearance data for each stage is saved. However, if changes have been made to any characters or Accessories, only some data may be reflected.
4. Booster Items
You can purchase items to boost all of your team's characters' stats for the duration of the Chronicle Quest.
Coins will not be consumed until you start the quest.
Your Booster Item selection will be carried over to your next Chronicle Quest.
5. EXP Booster
An EXP Booster is a special item that can be bought with either Coins or Friend Points. It increases the amount of EXP your characters earn during quests for a set period of time. You can purchase multiple EXP Boosters up to a maximum of 999 hours.
The EXP Booster has no effect on Guild EXP.
6. Item Drops
Here you can see a list of the items that you can acquire during the quest.
7. Useable Characters
Here you can see which characters can be used in this Chronicle Quest.
8. Characters Used
Tap here to see a list of the top ten characters used to clear this quest. This list will be updated periodically.
9. Bonus Characters
Tap here to see a list of which characters receive special bonuses in this Chronicle Quest.
10. Enemies
Here you can see a list of the enemies that appear during this Chronicle Quest. You can toggle the display to show the enemies' Affiliation and Killer abilities.
11. Using Soul Tickets
When starting a quest, you can set how many Soul Tickets you would like to use. For every ticket used you will receive rewards equivalent to clearing the quest once. If a Brave Souls Bonanza Pass is active when 5 Soul Tickets are used, an extra ticket's worth of rewards will be received.
12. Start Quest
Spend one Soul Ticket to start the quest.
