Releasing

Once you have powered up a character to a certain level, the option to "Release" them becomes available. Releasing a character will add more Souls to their Soul Tree. In order to Release a character, you must meet the following three requirements.

①	The character must be a ★6 character.
②	Level the character up to level 150.
③	Reach 100% on the character's Soul Tree.

Once you have achieved the three criteria listed above, the Soul Tree button on the character's Character Info screen will change to the "Release" button. You need a special item called "The Hogyoku's Will" to Release a character. You can acquire The Hogyoku's Will in various ways, such as from Orders, as drops during quests, or as event rewards.

Released Characters' Soul Trees

Releasing a character will give them a new Soul Tree. Items called "Droplets" are required to unlock this new Soul Tree. Droplets can be acquired from Droplet Trials, Enriched Droplet Zones, and in a variety of other ways. Tap the Droplet icon on a Soul Tree to transition to quests where you can acquire Droplets.

The amount of Droplets you can acquire is not affected by the "Increased Crystal/Jewel Drop" Soul Trait.

Characters who need unique Crystals to power up do not require Droplets. Their new Leveling Souls only require their unique Crystals to unlock.

Droplet

Releasing a character and then unlocking all their new Soul Tree will increase a character's level cap to 200.

Soul Tree Completion Percentage

After Releasing a character, their Soul Tree will still be shown as being at 100%. Powering up all the new Leveling Souls will increase the Soul Tree completion to 150%.

Badges

Releasing a character will have no effect on the appearance of their thumbnail image. However, a new badge will be added to indicate when a character has reached level 200.

Level 200 Reward

You will receive one Hogyoku's Will as a reward for leveling up a character to level 200. This reward is limited to one per character. You will not receive additional Hogyoku's Wills for leveling up the same character to level 200 multiple times.
