How to play Brave Souls
Brave Battles
Brave Battles
In Brave Battles, you face off against teams from other players and compete for league positions. Rankings for each league are calculated weekly from 6 am on Monday to midnight on Sunday, Japan time. Japan time is Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) +9 hours. Japan does not have daylight saving time, so to calculate Japan time, convert your local time to UTC and then add 9.
1. Battle Passes
It costs one Battle Pass to enter a Brave Battle. Battle Passes recharge at a rate of one pass every two hours, up to a maximum of five Passes. If you have no more Battle Passes, you can still enter a Brave Battle by spending one Spirit Orb.
2. Stats Total

3. Score
These are the points you earn by competing in Brave Battles. Winning a Brave Battle earns you 900 points, while you earn 90 points for losing. Scores are reset at the end of the week when the final rankings are calculated (between midnight and 6 am on Sunday, Japan time).
You cannot enter a Brave Battle while the rankings are being calculated.
4. League
Brave Battles are split across eleven leagues, with eight Seat leagues, then Lieutenant, Captain, and finally Head Captain. Everyone starts in the 10th Seat league, but at the end of every week you will either earn promotion to a higher league, be demoted to a lower league, or remain in your current league, depending on your ranking for that week. The higher your league, the better the rewards you can earn. A badge will appear next to your name in various places in the game to indicate which league you are in.

You can also turn on "Auto Special Moves in Battles" in the Options menu to have the AI automatically trigger a Special Move as soon as one is collected. When Special Moves are set to Auto, the AI will prioritize the left-most available character in the team, according to how the team is displayed on the Team Edit or Battle Preparation screens. Characters that are knocked out, Frozen, Paralyzed, Slowed, or Lacerated will be ignored. You can hold up to three Soul Bombs at one time.
