How to play Brave Souls

Guild Quests

Guild Quests

Guild Quests are special single-player quests that are only available to players who are a member of a Guild. The object of a Guild Quest is to earn points by defeating as many enemies as possible within the time limit. The best personal scores of all Guild members attained during the availability period are added together to calculate the total Guild Score, which is then used as the basis for weekly Guild Rankings.

Guild Quests are available each week from 12:00 AM on Tuesday to 12:00 AM on Sunday Japan Time (11:00 AM on Monday to 11:00 AM the following Saturday EST), and rewards are awarded depending on your Guild's final rank.

Tap the Guild button on the Home Screen then tap the Guild Quest button to enter a Guild Quest.

How to Play Guild Quests

1. Try a Guild Quest

Image1

Guild Quests are special single-player quests that require Guild Quest Passes to play. Guild Quest passes are limited to five per day and recharge every day at midnight, Japan Time.

The Guild Quest rules change at 12:00 AM on Tuesday and 12:00 AM on Friday Japan Time (11:00 AM on Monday and 11:00 AM on Thursday EST).
A Guild Quest finishes when you have either completed the quest, when the one minute time limit expires, or when your character has been knocked out.
You are awarded a score based on the amount of damage you deal and your remaining time upon clearing the quest.
No score is awarded if you quit the quest.

You will not receive any rewards if you quit a Guild Quest.

2. Create a Team

Your team for Guild Quests comprises one character that you control and two more characters who act independently.

3. Clear Waves to Build Your Score

Image2

You are awarded a score based on the enemies defeated, the time taken to clear the quest, and the clearance bonuses received.

Your highest score from each phase will be used to calculate your Guild Score.

You will also be awarded Score Rewards based on your score from the availability period of the quest.

Playing Guild Quests on a higher difficulty will net you a higher score, leading to a better Score Reward.

Please be aware that once you have claimed your Score Rewards, you cannot claim further Score Rewards until the rules change at 12:00 AM on Tuesday or 12:00 AM on Friday Japan Time (11:00 AM on Monday and 11:00 AM on Thursday EST).

4. Help Your Guild Move Up the Rankings

Image3

Guild Scores are calculated by adding together all Guild members' high scores from both Phase 1 and Phase 2. Your Guild Score determines your Guild Ranking.

Guild Rankings are split into three "Ratings," from 1 to 3. However, a Rating of 1 does not guarantee that your Guild will earn promotion to the next league, nor does a Rating of 3 guarantee your Guild will be relegated.

There are no ratings in the C League.

5. Move Up the Leagues

Image4

Depending on your Guild's position in the rankings at the time the final rankings are calculated, your Guild may remain in its current league (Safe Zone), gain promotion to the next highest league (Promotion Zone), or be relegated to the next lowest league (Relegation Zone).

You will earn a Treasure Box when the final rankings are calculated, based on your Guild's league and Rating. The higher the league your Guild is in, the better the rewards you will receive from a Treasure Box.

The only enemy introduced in an Extra Wave is an Extra Wave Boss. Extra Wave Bosses have an Extra Level and the first one to appear will have an Extra Level of 1. When you defeat a boss, a boss of the next Extra Level with boosted stats will appear. Defeating Extra Wave Bosses will earn you Damage Bonuses and Enemies Defeated Bonuses, further increasing your score.
